NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with gains in Friday's morning session.Shares of Unitech (up 4.17 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (up 2.73 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (up 1.78 per cent) and DLF (up 1.72 per cent) were the top performers in the index.Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.23 per cent) , Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.81 per cent) , Phoenix Mills (up 0.71 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.65 per cent) too were trading higher.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.37 per cent up at 232.75 around 11:00 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 1.50 points at 10,788.35 while the BSE Sensex was down 9.78 points at 35,888.57.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.
Shares of Kotak Bank, YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, Motherson Sumi, ONGC, Indian Oil Corp, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Vedanta , BEL and Vodafone Idea were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
