NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading higher in Tuesday's morning session.Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 4.91 per cent) , DLF (up 1.39 per cent) , Sobha (up 0.95 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.89 per cent) were the top performers in the index.Brigade Enterprises (up 0.80 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (up 0.35 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 0.08 per cent) too were trading higher.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.51 per cent up at 266.35 around 09:59 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 47.60 points at 11,674.75 while the BSE Sensex was up 181.70 points at 39,431.90.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Tata Motors, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors (DVR), SBI, Ashok Leyland, Motherson Sumi, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank and JSPL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
