The 2025 World Robot Conference will be held at the Beiren Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone from August 8 to 12, according to a press conference held by the Information Office of Beijing Municipality on Wednesday.The event will be hosted by the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE) and the World Robot Cooperation Organization.
It will comprise opening and closing ceremonies, parallel forums and related activities, including the World Robot Expo and the World Robot Competition.It will be the 10th edition of the World Robot Conference organized by the CIE. Chen Ying, CIE vice president and secretary-general, highlighted the event's expanded global engagement, with over 30 international organizations, more than 30 renowned global experts and over 100 international teams expected to participate.
International exhibitors will account for more than 20 percent of the total.So far, 20 international organizations, including the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, the International Foundation for Robotics Research and the European Robotics Association, have agreed to serve as supporting organizations for the conference.

Kramer, president of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE); Seng Chuan Tan, president of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations; and Toshio Fukuda, foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and IEEE 2020 president, have confirmed their participation.Chen said nearly 500 special guests from home and abroad will participate in the conference.
The exhibition area will exceed 50,000 square meters for the first time.
Over 200 companies, including nearly 50 well-known humanoid robot manufacturers, will participate, while over 100 new products will be unveiled.Officials say the activities of the conference will pay more attention to the precise docking of service industries, international cooperation, scenario applications and so on.The conference will be followed by the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games from August 15 to 17, according to the press conference.Read more: 100-day countdown!
