State district attorneys submitted a civil suit against senior Dagestani authorities Magomed-Sultan Magomedov earlier today as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged illegal privatization.Magomedov, who has acted as Dagestans state secretary since 2021, was reportedly arrested on Wednesday in Makhachkala following searches at lots of homes linked to him and his family.
Telegram channels with links to Russian security services said the examination includes the alleged illegal privatization of the petroleum distributor Dagnefteprodukt in 2005.
According to Russias judicial database, the countrys deputy prosecutor submitted a civil fit Monday versus Magomedov, 5 individuals four of whom share his patronymic and 2 business.
