
China sent a new test satellite into area on Thursday from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the southwestern Sichuan Province.The Shiyan-28B 01 satellite was gone for 5:35 p.m.
(Beijing Time) aboard a Long March-4C provider rocket and successfully entered the pre-programmed orbit.The satellite will be generally used for area environment exploration and associated technology tests.This is the 583rd flight mission of the Long March provider rocket series.(With input from Xinhua)
