NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Friday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Ecoplast Ltd(13.35%), Gilada Fin.
& Inv.(12.62%) and Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills(12.21%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 5.88 points up at 83245.35, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 0.75 points to 25404.55.
In the Nifty 50 index, 18 stocks traded in the green, while 32 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Sumeet Ind, Algoquant Fintech, Ludlow Jute, Adinath Exim and Reliance Naval & Engg hit their fresh 52-week high, while J.
Taparia Proj, Globe Civil Projects, Kkrrafton Developers, Omega Inter.Tech and Sadhana Nitro touched their new 52-week low in trade.
