active stocks: Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Trent(Rs.
222.59 crore), HDB Financial Servic(Rs.
138.69 crore), J B Chemicals(Rs.
133.50 crore), V-Guard(Rs.
119.97 crore), PC Jeweller(Rs.
93.32 crore), Chennai Petro(Rs.
92.05 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs.
77.21 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs.
76.06 crore), RIL(Rs.
74.30 crore) and CreditAccess Grameen(Rs.
74.08 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 55.71 points up at 25461.0, while BSE Sensex rose 193.42 points to 83432.89.
In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.36 per cent), Dr.
Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.25 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Trent Ltd.(down 11.88 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.00 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
