NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Tuesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Som Datt Fin(14.91%), Ashish Poly(13.67%), BDH Industries(12.91%), Classic Filaments(11.69%), G G Automotive Gears(10.63%), Kesar Enterprises(10.63%), Pasupati Spinning (10.29%) and KCD Industries India(10.00%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 115.53 points up at 82315.87, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 12.15 points to 25102.85.
In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks traded in the green, while 34 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Lords Chloro, Restile Ceramic, Nivaka Fashions, G G Automotive Gears and Viji Finance hit their fresh 52-week high, while LCC Infotech, 7NR Retail Ltd., Shangar Decor, A F Enterprises and Raymond Realty touched their new 52-week low in trade.
