In Mumbai, petrol is retailed at Rs 109.98 per litre, while diesel is being sold at Rs 94.14 per litre.
Among the metro cities, fuel rates are still the highest in Mumbai.

Any changes in petrol and diesel prices are implemented with effect from 6 am every day.Globally, oil prices edged lower as investors took profits after two days of gains amid fears of aggressive United States interest rate hikes, though the losses were partly offset by hopes of strong demand in a tightly supplied market over the longer term.
Brent fell 27 cents to $84.20 a barrel, while United States crude lost 43 cents to $81.69.
