NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Adarsh Plant(up 20.00%), Aki India(up 19.97%), Wall Street Fin(up 17.86%), Hazoor Multi(up 15.90%) and Mazda Ltd(up 15.02%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 9.0 points down at 83423.89, while the 50-share index, NSE was 0.16 points up at 25461.15.
In the Nifty50 index, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as J G Chemicals, Milgrey Finance, Hawkins Cookers, Tourism Finance and Sirca Paints hit their fresh 52-week high, while Trinity League, Enbee Trade Fin, Equippp Social Impact, Globe Civil Projects and Fine Line Circuits touched their new 52-week low during the session.
