The NSE Nifty index was trading 17.1 points down at 25444.2, while BSE Sensex was down 32.28 points at 83410.22 at the time of composing this report.
In the Nifty index, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 3.48 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(up 1.65 percent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.30 percent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(up 1.13 percent) were amongst the leading gainers.
While Titan Company Ltd.(down 5.38 percent), Dr.
Reddys Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.30 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.87 percent), Trent Ltd.(down 1.66 percent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.54 percent) were among the top losers in the index.
