
Chinas Ministry of Commerce has said the country is willing to expand imports of premium Finnish products and technologies while checking out much deeper cooperation in locations such as digital economy and green transformation.Chinas Vice Commerce Minister and Deputy China International Trade Representative Ling Ji recently met with Finlands Under-Secretary of State for International Trade Jarno Syrjala.
The 2 sides exchanged views on different problems, including China-Finland and China-EU financial and trade relations.Ling stated China wants to reinforce cooperation with Finland through mechanisms such as the China-Finland Joint Economic Committee Meeting and the China-Finland Committee for Innovative Business Cooperation.This year marks the 75th anniversary of the facility of diplomatic relations between China and Finland in addition to the 50th anniversary of China-EU relations.
Ling highlighted that both sides should strengthen policy communication, deepen practical cooperation and collectively secure the multilateral trading system with the World Trade Organization at its core.
