
One hundred and nineteen Chinese people were evacuated from Israel to Egypt on Thursday through the Taba border crossing in Egypts South Sinai Province.After completing the required treatments, the evacuees entered Egypt from the crossing at around 3:30 p.m.
and were then directed onto buses.According to the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, the evacuees include 117 trainees and two Hong Kong citizens, who will be moved to Cairo.

We finished all preparatory work effectively within 24 hours and dispatched an action group to Taba over night to organize the process of entry, Liao stated, adding that the embassy worked carefully with pertinent Egyptian departments over night to demand passage permits, needed support and security guarantees.Sun Xue, a postdoctoral fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, stated the journey from Jerusalem to the Taba border crossing took about four hours.
During the entry process at the crossing, personnel and volunteers from the Chinese Embassy in Egypt offered warm assistance and coordination.
