
The 27th China Beijing International High-tech Expo opened on Thursday in Beijing, with over a thousand scientific and technological innovations on display.The four-day expo, themed "Science and Technology for A Better Future", features over 800 technology companies and institutions from home and abroad.Covering an area of 50,000 square meters, the expo is showcasing more than 1,200 technological innovations across six exhibition areas – information technology, intelligent manufacturing, medicine and health, carbon neutrality, digital economy, and regional innovation.An investment and trade fair is held on the sideline of the expo, providing a platform for hundreds of representatives from companies worldwide to discuss and sign agreements on projects related to intelligent manufacturing, green energy, and other sectors."We hope to expand the international market in developed countries and East Asia through this expo.
At the same time, this expo also helps us connect with many foreign companies and form some cooperation with us," said Hu Fang, an exhibitor at the event.For the first time, the expo has an area dedicated to intellectual property services which aims to provide more professional and market-oriented services to innovative entities."Through exhibitions, promotions, negotiations and policy releases, we provide clear investment guidance for multinational companies, boost investor confidence and build a regular platform for government-enterprise exchanges," said An Yongjun, director of the International Exhibition Department at the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council.
